I went to Michigan in 1952 with my Parents from Franklin, North Carolina. Went to Donnelson Elementary,Issac E. Cary Jr. High and Waterford Township High Scool. Graduated in 1967and Hired in General Motors that same year. Retired in 2004. in Florida in the winter. We do living histories for fouth and fivth graders teaching them that the War beween the States was not over slavery but states rights. I belong to the United Daughters of Confederacy and the Daughters of American Revolution.
Not for Slavery or Susession but for saving and telling history the way it was and being proud of my ancestory.
